One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Prospectus could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Prospectus was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Tender Body who started to galop and lost 10 m.




Prospectus was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Tender Body looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Tender Body kept the speed up and no one had a chance to take over the lead.



Tender Body sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Tender Body galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.




Prospectus won the race after a spectacular finish.
