One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Steel Boy found a gap and took the lead. Miss Issippi followed before Crossing Pearl.




Miss Issippi saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Steel Boy sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Steel Boy today. It continued in the lead.



Steel Boy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Crossing Pearl sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
