One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Atlantic Design tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Outspoken Work that came steaming ahead. Øystein Tjomsland wanted a little to much in the start and Independant Energy galoped for 50 m. Ternecky Cherry suddenly started to galop. Gunnar Austevoll had to struggle to get Ternecky Cherry to tror again and succeded after 10 m.

Ternecky Cherry quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Hoping Bomb sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Ternecky Cherry suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.

Outspoken Work accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

Atlantic Design speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Ternecky Cherry galop. Ternecky Cherry lost 40 m.

Outspoken Work won. Atlantic Design came in second. Hoping Bomb caught third place.
