One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Purple Trap found a gap and took the lead. Music Goes Boom followed before Stepping Wonder.




Canadian Gift quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. A bird flew just in front of Running Fox who started to galop and lost 50 m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Purple Trap took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Purple Trap today. It continued in the lead. Wimpy Fiesta started to gallop after 1500m and Geir Vegard Gundersen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.



Purple Trap kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Canadian Gift sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
