The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bergen this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Starstruck Amazon was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark. A bird flew just in front of Starstruck Amazon who started to galop and lost 20 m.




Silly Lipstick took the lead after 1000m. Starshine Sparrow didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Silly Lipstick was still in the lead after 1500m.



Silly Lipstick sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Silly Lipstick kept the speed the whole finish and won before Starstruck Amazon and Starshine Sparrow.
