The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Backstabbing Lilac sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. When the startcar left the field Clever Paradigm started to galop and lost 20 m.




Clever Paradigm quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Backstabbing Lilac looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Glorious couldn't come out from behind the leader, Clever Paradigm.




Glorious looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Glorious didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.



Glorious looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Asparagus was disturbed and galopped for 40 m.




Backstabbing Lilac sprinted over the finishline before Glorious and Clever Paradigm.
