The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Vaggeryd this day. One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Tender Band took the lead after a very quick start. Ganz Klein was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. A bird flew just in front of Front Gentleman who started to galop and lost 40 m. Tender Band clinged on to the lead after a 1000m. Drooling Play galoped after 1000m and lost 20 m. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Tender Band followed by Amoureux and Running Peach. Lane two Ganz Klein followed by Loyal Wave and Opposing Breeze. Opposing Breeze galloped for 50 m. Drooling Play started to gallop after 1500m and Oskar Svanberg had to struggle to get it back in trotting. Ganz Klein were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line. Running Peach galopped for 30 m on the homestretch. Tender Band didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race. Results
