It had been raining for several days at Bodø but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Useless Vacation was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and New Gold Dream sprinted to the front.




Useless Vacation sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Useless Vacation today. It continued in the lead.



Useless Vacation sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






New Gold Dream won. Carlos Afrodite came in second. Useless Vacation caught third place.
