Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Bergsåker track was in top-condition.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Starshine Ruby found a gap and took the lead. Pink Boots followed before Close Strategy. When the startcar left the field Breakstreet started to galop and lost 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Roots Of Knowledge, The Conqueror, Energy Line, Bold Doll, Whatever Forest, Pink Boots, Close Strategy, Starshine Ruby. Strong Crusher started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Bold Doll looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Close Strategy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Roots Of Knowledge.

Close Strategy accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.

The Conqueror was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Close Strategy kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Strong Crusher sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
