It had been raining for several days at Åmål but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Wimpy Doll could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Lonely Red started to galop and lost 20 m.




Running Starshine quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




Ghostly Dream sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Ghostly Dream followed by Running Starshine and Seductive Lilac. Lane two Wimpy Doll followed by Lonely Red and .



Ghostly Dream were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Ghostly Dream didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
