The sun was shining and the birds was singing on Åby today.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Midnight took the lead after a very quick start.




Giggling Closet saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Walking Midnight sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Walking Midnight followed by Tripping Sugar and Diamond Rebel. Lane two Ivory Fiber followed by Giggling Closet and Allison.



Ivory Fiber was first on the homestretch followed by Walking Midnight and Tripping Sugar.






Diamond Rebel sprinted over the finishline before Walking Midnight and Ivory Fiber.
