One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Giggling Sapphire took the lead after a very quick start.




Over The Limit saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. A bird flew just in front of Over The Limit who started to galop and lost 10 m.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Giggling Sapphire accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Giggling Sapphire kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Over The Limit won the race after a spectacular finish.
