It had been raining for several days at Årjäng but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Quantum Rebel found a gap and took the lead. Ballad Of Beacon followed before Swinging Sparrow.




This is the positions after 500m. Bol Gentleman, Starchild, Quantum Rebel, Swinging Sparrow, Thank You, Ballad Of Beacon, , .




The leader got disturbed by something and Swinging Sparrow took the lead rather easily.




Swinging Sparrow was still in the lead after 1500m. Thank You started to gallop after 1500m and Björn Goop had to struggle to get it back in trotting.




Swinging Sparrow was still in the lead after 2000m.



Ballad Of Beacon suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.






Quantum Rebel never caught up with Ballad Of Beacon who won. Swinging Sparrow came third.
