It had been raining for several days at Kalajoki but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Tempting Starlight tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Valetta Princess that came steaming ahead.




Díl Má Radost quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Amber Top was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Breakbeat sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Tempting Starlight saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Breakbeat gallopped for 50 m.



Valetta Princess litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Mystic Stranger sprinted over the finishline before Valetta Princess and Le Tonnerre.
