The sun was shining on Kalajoki and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Adorable Godiva sprinted away from the competitors and took the lead. Flickering Beauty suddenly started to galop. Aki Antti-Roiko had to struggle to get Flickering Beauty to tror again and succeded after 40 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Walking Sword sprinted to the front.




Adorable Godiva took the lead after 1000m. Walking Sword didn't have a good time being caught on the outside.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Adorable Godiva followed by Walking Sword and Racing Star. Lane two Screaming Bomb followed by Tracker Rewards and Mawr Mewn Geiriau. Volo Principe galloped for 20 m.




Adorable Godiva sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Walking Sword was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Adorable Godiva sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Walking Sword sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
