One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Decisive Hero found a gap and took the lead. Tahitex Hamilton followed before Strong Lion.




This is the positions after 500m. Zafirah Larockma, Famous Cocktail, Ferocious Ship, Loving Comet, Strong Lion, Decisive Hero, Tahitex Hamilton, Bowling Star. Tahitex Hamilton started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo. Ferocious Ship was disturbed and galoped 50 m.
