One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Beetle Peaks could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




Beetle Peaks was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. Powerful Energy was disturbed and galoped 40 m.




Flex looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Fighting Lion couldn't come out from behind the leader, Beetle Peaks.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Beetle Peaks followed by Fighting Lion and Purple Meadow. Lane two Flex followed by Powerful Energy and Bol Gentleman.



Fighting Lion litterally flew through the last bend and was first on the homestretch.






Beetle Peaks made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Flex.
