One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Smiling Love tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Bright Closet that came steaming ahead.




Bright Closet was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead. The Fallen Hammer started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Smiling Love looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Hard Pirate couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bright Closet.




Bright Closet was still in the lead after 1500m.



Bright Closet kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Smiling Love never caught up with Bright Closet who won. Hard Pirate came third.
