One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Odeur Bizarre could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Falling Grove was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m. Gold Phantom suddenly started to galop. Aki Antti-Roiko had to struggle to get Gold Phantom to tror again and succeded after 30 m.

Gold Phantom quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The leader got disturbed by something and Geir Almighty took the lead rather easily.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Geir Almighty followed by Independant Energy and Old Cruiser. Lane two Odeur Bizarre followed by Falling Grove and Giggling Breath.

Geir Almighty didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead. Giggling Breath was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.

Old Cruiser was disturbed and galopped for 20 m. Geir Almighty were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Odeur Bizarre never caught up with Geir Almighty who won. Independant Energy came third.
