The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Hankasalmi this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Tempting Ring. Handy Universe ended up behind the leader. Flying Cube got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two. driver couldn't keep Loyal Body to trotting so they were disqualified.




This is the positions after 500m. Glorious Forest, Handy Universe, Jakaranda Velvet, Flying Cube, Pampered Grove, Ticking Twister, Tempting Ring, Flemming On Fire. A bird flew just in front of Barefoot Diamond who started to galop and lost 40 m.




Handy Universe sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Jakaranda Velvet suddenly made a bad step, started to galop and lost 20 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Handy Universe today. It continued in the lead.



Tempting Ring was first on the homestretch followed by Flying Cube and Handy Universe.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Cute Meadow galop. Cute Meadow lost 30 m.




Flying Cube kept the speed the whole finish and won before Handy Universe and Glorious Forest.
