One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Whats Fun could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. Bo Falsig wanted a little to much in the start and Whats Fun galoped for 20 m. When the startcar left the field Speedy Hero started to galop and lost 40 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Le Parlementarisme sprinted to the front. Seductive Folder started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Pointing Glam sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Pointing Glam followed by Whats Fun and Speedy Hero. Lane two Opmerkelijk followed by More Than Everything and Opposing Venus.

With only a little left of the race Blue Falcon galoped for 40 m. More Than Everything speeded up in the last bend and was first on the homestretch.

Opposing Venus sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
