The weather had been good all week and Umåker was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Magic Needle could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start. When the startcar left the field Competitive Work started to galop and lost 10 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Bon Iver Superior sprinted to the front.

Aggressive Band looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Speeding Admiral couldn't come out from behind the leader, Bon Iver Superior.

Nothing seemed to be able to stop Bon Iver Superior today. It continued in the lead. Couronne D'épines started to gallop after 1500m and Lars-Åke Svärdfeldt had to struggle to get it back in trotting. driver couldn't keep Trembling Sky to trotting so they were disqualified.

Aggressive Band suddenly found some strength when the driver removed the earpads and sprinted to the lead.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Competitive Work galop. Competitive Work lost 40 m.

Aggressive Band didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
