It had been raining for several days at Halsua but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





License To Lick took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Devine Sparrow sprinted to the front.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Devine Sparrow was still in the lead after 1500m.



Devine Sparrow looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






License To Lick sprinted over the finishline before Devine Sparrow and Good Looking Platinum.
