The weather had been good all week and Lycksele was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Counterfeit Nutcracker tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Filip On Fire that came steaming ahead.




Aaron Sparrow was looking sharp this day and continued in the lead.




Heavy Thrasher looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Prince Spicy couldn't come out from behind the leader, Aaron Sparrow.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Counterfeit Nutcracker followed by Heavy Thrasher and Screamer. Lane two Aaron Sparrow followed by Prince Spicy and Filip On Fire.



With only a little left of the race Prince Spicy galoped for 50 m. Heavy Thrasher sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Snowy Tiger was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




No-one could catch Counterfeit Nutcracker today who won before Heavy Thrasher and Aaron Sparrow.
