The sun was shining on Åby and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Dancing Cake could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




This is the positions after 500m. Comfortable Sergeant, Ms. Hudson, Elected Dictatorship, Jumping Blizzard, Dancing Cake, Alice Opal, Famous Flower, Bocklages Law.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Comfortable Sergeant followed by Famous Flower and Alice Opal. Lane two Jumping Blizzard followed by Dancing Cake and Bocklages Law.



Comfortable Sergeant sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Dancing Cake sprinted over the finishline before Jumping Blizzard and Famous Flower.
