The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Åmål this day.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Crawford was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Grasping Girl saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Funky Closet sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead. Crawford galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Funky Closet followed by Tough Work and Livermorio Vox. Lane two Dead Satellite followed by Expensive Tropic and Grasping Girl. Crawford galloped for 50 m.




Funky Closet sat safely in the lead after 2000m.




Funky Closet seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead.



Funky Closet kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Dead Satellite won the race after a spectacular finish.
