The sun was shining on Vaggeryd and it was a perfect day for trotting.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Light Bouquet tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Playing Red that came steaming ahead.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced. A bird flew just in front of Playing Red who started to galop and lost 30 m.




Carlos Afrodite took the lead after 1000m. Posadas didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Playing Red galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Carlos Afrodite today. It continued in the lead.



Carlos Afrodite looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.






Gold Evian won the race after a spectacular finish.
