One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Walking Mambo took the lead after a very quick start.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Bright Sugar sprinted to the front.




Power Missile took the lead after 1000m. Walking Mambo didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Walking Mambo was disturbed and galoped 20 m.




Red King looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Red King sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Trembling Bouquet was disturbed and gallopped for 50 m.



Red King sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Steel Star sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
