One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Dead Comet was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Shy Bomb suddenly started to galop. Henrik Johansson had to struggle to get Shy Bomb to tror again and succeded after 50 m.

The leader couldn't hold the lead and Snowy Thinking sprinted to the front.

Dead Comet sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dead Comet followed by Gorgeous Bouquet and Storm Trooper. Lane two Shy Bomb followed by Snowy Thinking and Shadow Disco.

Dead Comet sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Dead Comet didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
