One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Rolling Galaxy was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Johan L Sundgren wanted a little to much in the start and Sonnenschein galoped for 50 m. Moonlight Giggle was to tense at the start and galloped for 50 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Sonnenschein, Safety Operation, Falling Ballerina, Amazing Lady, Sleepy Stardust, Rolling Galaxy, Sneaking Vanilla, The Louisiana.

Falling Ballerina sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Rolling Galaxy saw a chanche when the tempo dropped and could easilytake the lead. Sleepy Stardust galloped for 50 m.

Rolling Galaxy was still in the lead after 2000m. Silly Star galloped for 60m and was disqualified.

Rolling Galaxy seemed to be in good shape this day and continued in the lead. Flordalie gallopped 20 m after 2500m.

Rolling Galaxy sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

Sleepy Stardust showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Safety Operation won the race after a spectacular finish.
