The weather had been good all week and Arvika was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Vittorio Veneto tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Solid Platinum that came steaming ahead.




Flickering Gal saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Flickering Gal was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.




Stopping Nutcracker looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.



Climbing Night was disturbed and galopped for 40 m. Stopping Nutcracker sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Solid Platinum never caught up with Stopping Nutcracker who won. Ticking Starshine came third.
