One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Waas Mooi Vent tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to High Excellency that came steaming ahead. Fast Knight was to tense at the start and galloped for 30 m.




Steel Tiger quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused High Excellency galop. High Excellency lost 50 m.
