One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Singing Ruby was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Schiaffino started to galop and lost 10 m.




The leader couldn't hold the lead and Schiaffino sprinted to the front.




Magic Starlight sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.

Singing Ruby sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
