One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Surpuppan was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.




Criminal Duchess was in fine shape and held the lead.




Sunday Maid looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Turning Diamond couldn't come out from behind the leader, Surpuppan.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Surpuppan today. It continued in the lead.



Surpuppan sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Turning Diamond galop. Turning Diamond lost 40 m.




No-one could catch Curly Lashes today who won before Oh So Slow And Desolate and Sunday Maid.
