One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Merci Beaucoup was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Blossoming Sugar suddenly started to galop. Flemming Jensen had to struggle to get Blossoming Sugar to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Pointing Gossip looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Blossoming Sugar couldn't come out from behind the leader, Merci Beaucoup.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Merci Beaucoup followed by Blossoming Sugar and Running Dreamcatcher. Lane two Pointing Gossip followed by Sleepy Autumn and .



With only a little left of the race Merci Beaucoup galoped for 50 m. Merci Beaucoup kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






No-one could catch Merci Beaucoup today who won before Blossoming Sugar and Pointing Gossip.
