One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track. Fair Wonder was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Starshine Lipstick quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m. Fair Wonder sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Standings after 1500m . Lane one Fair Wonder followed by Tamina and Sweet Tigress. Lane two Starshine Lipstick followed by Devine Addiction and . Fair Wonder sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch. Starshine Lipstick won the race after a spectacular finish.
