The weather had been good all week and Axevalla was in good shape.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Peck Hof took the lead after a very quick start.

Opposing Raspberry quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.

Dynamit Gustav Vasa took the lead after 1000m. Rezgo didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Decisive Agent galoped after 1000m and lost 10 m.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Dynamit Gustav Vasa followed by Roseraie and Radiating Runaway. Lane two Peck Hof followed by Coughing Sunray and Wimpy Cocktail. Decisive Agent galloped for 10 m.

Peck Hof took the lead.

Wimpy Cocktail galloped for 60m and was disqualified. Peck Hof kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Roseraie won the race after a spectacular finish.
