Only a few clouds could be spotted on the sky this day. Åmål track was in top-condition.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Many drivers had set there mind on a front position this day. Fastest of them all were Sting. Strong Asteroid ended up behind the leader. Rugged Ship got caught on the outside and were forced to take place as first in lane two.




Sting was in fine shape and held the lead.




No one seem keen on putting pressure on the leader so he could keep his own tempo.




Sting was still in the lead after 1500m.




Sting sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Sting sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Winner of todays race was Sting. Rugged Ship came in second. Strong Asteroid became third.
