It had been raining for several days at Suonenjoki but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Expensive Orchid found a gap and took the lead. Chaminade Hof followed before Asche Zu Asche. When the startcar left the field Modest Starlight started to galop and lost 40 m.




Violent quickly put pressure on the leader and could take the lead after 500m.




The leader got disturbed by something and Asche Zu Asche took the lead rather easily.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Asche Zu Asche today. It continued in the lead.




Asche Zu Asche sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Running Starshine gallopped 50 m after 2000m.



Asche Zu Asche were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.






Asche Zu Asche kept the speed the whole finish and won before Chaminade Hof and Modest Starlight.
