It had been raining for several days at Pihtipudas but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gold Ginger Whirlwind found a gap and took the lead. Sick Piano followed before Blue Rose Belinda.




Criminal Duchess saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Little Feeling took the lead after 1000m. Jolly Nugget didn't have a good time being caught on the outside. Little Feeling was disturbed and galoped 10 m.




Nothing seemed to be able to stop Little Feeling today. It continued in the lead.




Sick Piano took the lead.



Jolly Nugget showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping. Sick Piano sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Little Feeling galop. Little Feeling lost 10 m.




Gold Ginger Whirlwind made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Sick Piano.
