One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Funky Moonlight tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Sowing Needle that came steaming ahead. When the startcar left the field Perfect Cake started to galop and lost 30 m. Winning Sister galloped way to long and was disqualified.




Funky Moonlight saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead. Winning Sister started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.




Perfect Sapphire sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Sowing Needle accelerated after 1500m and took the lead. Perfect Sapphire started to gallop after 1500m and Thomas Dalborg had to struggle to get it back in trotting. driver couldn't keep Funky Moonlight to trotting so they were disqualified.




Sowing Needle sat safely in the lead after 2000m. Sleeping Wardrobe was disturbed and gallopped for 10 m.



With only a little left of the race Sleeping Wardrobe galoped for 50 m. Sowing Needle sat safely in the lead when they started the homestretch.






Sowing Needle didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
