It had been raining for several days at Färjestad but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sister Surround found a gap and took the lead. Experienced Lieutenant followed before Funky Mistress. When the startcar left the field Sister Surround started to galop and lost 50 m.




Handy Universe saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.




Courageous Mountain sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Courageous Mountain followed by Kvarngärdets Moneypenny and Handy Universe. Lane two Experienced Lieutenant followed by Running Temptress and Sister Surround. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Funky Mistress gallopped for 40 m.



Experienced Lieutenant was first on the homestretch followed by Running Temptress and Courageous Mountain.

The spectators cheered much on the homestretch and probably caused Funky Mistress galop. Funky Mistress lost 20 m.




Courageous Mountain sprinted over the finishline before Running Temptress and Kvarngärdets Moneypenny.
