The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Gävle this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Superformance was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. When the startcar left the field Breaking Beauty started to galop and lost 10 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Brown Man, Breaking Beauty, Calming Boulder, Vurenhout, Chaplin Hof, Rolling Madame, Superformance, Playing Love.

Brown Man was in great shape so far and looked happy in the lead.

Calming Boulder looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m. Something caused a disturbance in the field and Brown Man gallopped for 50 m.

Calming Boulder didn't even look tired after 2000m and sat safely in the lead.

Calming Boulder were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Calming Boulder galopped for 30 m on the homestretch.

Breaking Beauty won. Superformance came in second. Chaplin Hof caught third place.
