One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Famous Cake tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Front Work that came steaming ahead. Björn Goop wanted a little to much in the start and Amazing Garden galoped for 30 m.

This is the positions after 500m. Vlug Aanvalle, Bauer, Verenigen Mijn Trip, Famous Cake, Knallgullan, Goodbye Holly, Amazing Garden, Polished Night. Battering Ram was disturbed and galoped 50 m.

Bauer sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead. Amazing Garden was disturbed and galoped 30 m.

Bauer was still in the lead after 1500m.

Bauer kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.

Goodbye Holly showed unexperience when he was disqualified for galoping.

Verenigen Mijn Trip sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
