The sun was shining on Momarken and it was a perfect day for trotting.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Joking Sphinx was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead.

This is the positions after 500m. Rugged Knight, Light Mind, Saltando Marziale, Light Speed, Akhatova, Punching Hero, Windy Nutcracker, Joking Sphinx. Slow Mountain started to galop after 500 m and was nearly disqualified.

Akhatova sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.

Akhatova was still in the lead after 1500m. Punching Hero started to gallop after 1500m and Gunnar Eggen had to struggle to get it back in trotting.

Akhatova were still in the lead when they started the sprint for the finish-line.

Light Mind was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.

Winner of todays race was Akhatova. Windy Nutcracker came in second. Joking Sphinx became third.
