One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Edgy Ruby tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Loving Lieutenant that came steaming ahead.




This is the positions after 500m. Guardian Legend, I'm On Fire, Edgy Ruby, Mrs Melbourne, Contrebandier, Loving Lieutenant, Sliding Rocker, Invasion.




Mrs Melbourne sprinted past it's competitors after a 1000m and took the lead.




Guardian Legend accelerated after 1500m and took the lead.



Mrs Melbourne was first on the homestretch followed by Guardian Legend and Sliding Rocker.

Loving Lieutenant was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Guardian Legend sprinted away from the rest of the field and won quite easy.
