It had been raining for several days at Solvalla but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Sweet Thunder was looking particularly good and could easily take the lead. Kaalikeitto Cherry galloped way to long and was disqualified.




There were no mayor changes in the field at the 500m mark.




Zarin Larockma sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Liar Liar looked to be in good shape this day and took the lead after 1500m.




Sweet Thunder took the lead.



Sweet Thunder looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Sweet Thunder was disturbed and galopped for 30 m.




Lonely Sunray sprinted over the finishline before Zarin Larockma and Polished Pirate.
