It had been raining for several days at Hoting but the sun was shining this day a the track was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Year Zero could eventually take the lead after a very dramatic start.




The field stabalized after the bend and the speed was reduced.




Criminal Fenena looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Solid Tank couldn't come out from behind the leader, Year Zero.




Year Zero was still in the lead after 1500m.



With only a little left of the race Criminal Fenena galoped for 30 m. Year Zero kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Year Zero didn't even look tired on the homestretch and won the race.
