The sky was free of clouds and the sun was shining at Bollnäs this day.

One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.

Forceful Runner found a gap and took the lead. Slippery Hyena followed before Lady Allehanda.

Growing Band saw it's chance when the leader lost tempo and took the lead.

Stopping Lizard looked tired after 1000m but had to keep up the tempo so that Blue Hero couldn't come out from behind the leader, Growing Band.

Standings after 1500m . Lane one Growing Band followed by Blue Hero and Wolly Rose. Lane two Slippery Hyena followed by Stopping Lizard and Forceful Runner.

Growing Band looked like a million bucks when we commenced the homestretch.

Peter Eriksson tried a little too much on the homestretch and Slow Mountain started to galopp and lost 20 m.

Blue Hero made a good sprint on the homestretch and crossed the finishline before Stopping Lizard.
