The weather had been good all week and Pihtipudas was in good shape.



One after another the horses came out on the track for the obigatory parade. After some warmup the horses lined up behind the car as it began to move down the track.





Gloeierig Zucht tried its best to keep the lead but finally had to give in to Quist Larockma that came steaming ahead. Opposing Heroine was to tense at the start and galloped for 40 m. Carlos Ooker suddenly started to galop. Esa Holopainen had to struggle to get Carlos Ooker to tror again and succeded after 50 m.




This is the positions after 500m. Gloeierig Zucht, Opposing Heroine, Carlos Ooker, Lyon Bourbon, Quist Larockma, Pirates Ship, Tempting Pony, Edgy Cup.




Opposing Heroine sprinted past the competitors and took over the lead.




Standings after 1500m . Lane one Opposing Heroine followed by Lyon Bourbon and Carlos Ooker. Lane two Pirates Ship followed by Quist Larockma and Tempting Pony. Gloeierig Zucht galloped for 40 m.




Opposing Heroine sat safely in the lead after 2000m.



Opposing Heroine kept a high tempo and was first in on the homestretch.






Pirates Ship won. Quist Larockma came in second. Opposing Heroine caught third place.
